Hotel Winkelried is located on the Dorfplatz in Stansstad, right on Lake Lucerne. Lucerne is 10 minutes away by car, 15 minutes by train and 30 minutes by boat form Lucerne.

Easily: Stansstad railway station is just a few minutes’ walk away (15 minutes from Lucerne, trains every half hour), and the boat landing stage is right next to the hotel (30 minutes from Lucerne).

Of course. Our own underground parking spaces are available for CHF 15.00 per night. Public parking is located right in front of and next to the hotel (charges apply from 7 am to 7 pm).

Stansstad is an ideal base for day trips around Lucerne: up Pilatus, Stanserhorn, Klewenalp or to Engelberg-Titlis, on a boat trip across Lake Lucerne or into the city of Lucerne with the KKL, the Swiss Museum of Transport and the Art Museum. The boat docks right next to the hotel.

Our generous breakfast buffet awaits you daily from 7 AM to 10.30 AM in one of our halls – and in the summer months, we are happy to serve it on the lakeside terrace.

All rooms have a balcony, bathroom/toilet, TV, radio alarm clock, direct-dial telephone, in-room safe, hairdryer and free Wi-Fi. The minibar is restocked daily with refreshing drinks. Our suites also feature a coffee machine and a sofa (bed).

Well-behaved four-legged friends are warmly welcome in selected rooms – for CHF 15.00 per day (food not included). In our restaurants, larger dogs are only permitted with a muzzle.
